The admission process at IIT Roorkee is rigorous and aims to attract talented students for its B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA programs. For B.Tech admissions, candidates must qualify in JEE Advanced and participate in JoSAA counseling for seat allocation, having completed their 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. M.Tech admissions require applicants to hold a relevant B.Tech or BE degree and a valid GATE score, with seats allocated through CCMT (Centralized Counseling for M.Tech). For the MBA program, applicants need a bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 50% aggregate marks and a qualifying CAT score. Selection for the MBA includes a group discussion and personal interview for shortlisted candidates based on CAT performance. Each program’s admission involves an online application, document submission, and fee payment, ensuring that IIT Roorkee admits students with strong academic records and high potential.
